Hi,
I need a web site which involves creating a database and a calendar. Two things that I have no knowledge of. I'll try and be quite specific about the brief so there is no surprises later on. Hopefully this will help when quoting.
I really want the web site to be very simple, yet look good. I work in a creative industry and looks are everything. Functionality of the web site needs to be very clear, concise, user friendly, fast.
Initially there would be 6 parts to the web site, they are:
1: Registered Persons
2: Registered Companies
3: Registered Persons Profiles/Portfolio
4: Calendar
5: a Form
6: Mail to all Registered Persons with the Form's contents
Only Registered companies would be allowed to view the Registered Persons Profile and essentially I would be the only Registered Company, this may change in the future, hence the need for another database table of companies.
I need to be able to email all Registered Persons, using an online form.
The calendar essentially needs to be one which can be updated by Registered Persons, allowing Registered Companies (me) to see their availability.
We'll have to discuss the possibilities of such a calendar as I may be asking the impossible.
Their portfolio needs to be a created via a form which among other things allows them to upload a small amount of jpegs for the Registered Companies to view.
