Designer / Coder (North West - work remotely)

We are a web publishing network looking to expand rapidly this year. As a result, we have a significant number of projects we want to get under way as soon as possible.
Therefore, we are looking to hire one or more designers/coders for either contract work (price per job) or on retainer (min 16 hours per week).
We will;
- Provide clear functional specifications for you to work from
- Be available for comments, feedback and general input a minimum of 14 hours per day.
- Provide you with a workable platform to provide your spec work, communicate with us and our own programmers.
- Pay you fairly, and promptly.
You will;
- Be proficient with CSS coding
- Understand the basics of web usability
- Provide original psds of created elements, as well as coded pages (server-side not necessary, but HTML/CSS is).
The style of work we are looking for is simple and crisp. Look at the portfolios of companies like silverorange.com and 37signals.com for an idea of the kind of style we intend to utilize.
In the first instance, please provide at least 3 examples of your work and an broad idea of your rates. Please also indicate your location, though this will not have an impact on any decision.
