Who we are looking for : A Junior Web Designer to join our highly skilled creative team. This is great opportunity for you to establish yourself as a leading designer within a forward thinking media agency.

Creative Jar is an innovative technological and multimedia solutions provider, delivering cutting edge end-to-end products for corporate marketing, websites, content management and interactive media.

Where we are : Twyford (Reading), Berkshire
Responsibilities & Role :
• Create new and innovative concepts and interface designs
• Design and develop graphics and flash animations for online deployment
• Design and author websites from conception through to completion
• Work under the guidance of the Creative Director
• Design to tight deadlines
• Show creative flair and generate innovative ideas
• Client liaison and customer service
• Delivering solutions that meet objectives whilst satisfying the needs of the user
• Assisting in designing, re-designing and delivering digital campaigns for clients
• Demonstrate ideas-led creative work with strong typographic skills
• Help with image concerns/look and feel when designing new templates and pages
• Closely work with the creative team on branding exercise to maintain consistency across marketing, initiatives and source imagery
• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Creative Director from time to time
Skills Required :
• Good knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, PSD, Fireworks, Illustrator & Flash
• University degree
• Typesetting, design and layout skills
• Knowledge of different digital files
• An eye for detail – to minimise proof stages
• Ability to meet deadlines – Good team player
• Patient and flexible
• Organised, able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Actionscript, CSS, Javascript and XML would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Templates
• General application for web design
• Good communication skills
