Digital Portfolios is a web agency based in Business Design Centre, Islington. We require a part or full time designer for web and some print work. We have a roster of clients ranging from very small to blue chip and we pride ourselves on maintaining long standing good relationships with both.
You should be good at self- management and prioritising workload, also happy to answer the telephone, deal with accounts and assist with project management/attend meetings as required.
You will be creating concepts for new web sites, developing and updating new and existing sites. You will liase with programmers who will be working on the backend of web applications. Whilst it is not required for you to do any backend programming you should have knowledge of CSS/ XHTML/ PHP/ to perform simple edits and integrate code into HTML templates. Any further knowledge in programming languages, web standards and accessibility issues will make you a strong candidate for the role.
You will purchase domains and hosting for clients as required and manage these accounts. You will perform site optimisation for search engines also manage and set up new pay- per-click accounts for clients on Google Adwords and Yahoo.
You will also have experience of meeting tight deadlines, preferably in an agency environment.
Salary dependent on experience 18-21K full time. Part-time also an option.
