Fantastic opportunity for ambitious and enthusiastic designers looking to be involved in a young and exciting agency.
You must:
• Have good experience of branding and brand development, conceptualising, and producing outstanding design work from
start to finish
• Be motivated, pro-active and highly organised
• Have excellent skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks (skills in all would be a bonus)
• Have brilliant ideas backed up by intelligent thinking
• Have a strong visual eye with attention to detail
• Have great communication skills – able to develop excellent relationships with key individuals, sometimes at a senior level
As a designer you will have at least three years print design experience and 2 years online experience. It would also be a distinct advantage for you to have proven agency experience. You will be a skilled designer with expertise in a variety of design disciplines including print design, exhibition materials, web development, print production and creative photography.
You will:
• Be required to create innovative designs for our clients from conceptualisation to completion. You will brainstorm ideas with the team and create visual storyboards to present.
• Be responsible for creating outstanding creative work from client briefs, with an understanding of the importance of design, typography and layout.
• Show strong initiative and constantly be on top of your game, understanding new design and print techniques, bringing new ideas to the table and continually making suggestions on how to improve and build on ideas.
• Be responsible for managing your time sheet and understanding the time required on projects.
• Be responsible for costing out projects, understanding fee levels and sending budgets and quotes to clients.
• Have a clear and concise understanding of time management and budget tracking.
• Assist the company director on new business proposals and pitches.
