Who are we:
ward404 is an interactive design agency in London working predominantly within the entertainment and music industries. We are a compact and enthusiastic team working for clients such as Sony, EMI, Universal, Virgin, Parlophone, Warner, Mercury & DefJam to name a few.
We are looking for a talented Web Designer / Flash Developer to work in-house at our studio in Hoxton. You will have a great sense of visual design and strong portfolio to showcase this. The position requires all the usual application skills leaning heavily toward graphic design capabilities and flash build. Experience is not necessarily essential as we are more interested in raw creative talent.
Key requirements:
* Strong design and typography skills within digital media
* Intimate knowledge of relevant industry tools (Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator etc)
* Ability to take projects from design concepts through to finished products
* A keen eye for detail
* Strong conceptual thinking
* Ability to adapt design style to compliment diverse music genres, whilst still being able to produce quality work
Personal requirements:
* Passion for design with an understanding of communicating to target audiences
* Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Versatile and committed work ethic
* Sense of humour
Advantageous skills:
* Knowledge of developing online advertising campaigns using TangoZebra or EyeBlaster platforms
* Video, 3D skills are a plus
* Any knowledge of HTML, CSS etc. a bonus
