Designer required to join the studio of our Marketing Agency, at our offices in Lower Earley, Reading, on a 6 month temporary contract - starting mid-April 2008.
In the role of Designer, the successful candidate will undertake a range of responsibilities in a variety of key areas:
Creative
•Undertake creative work spanning the entire marketing spectrum, including the design of advertising, logos, webpages, HTML emails, stationary, presentations, brochures and direct marketing material
•Take regular briefs from account directors
•Ensure branding is consistent and corporate
•Assume a ‘hands-on’ role in origination
•Possess a thorough knowledge of all technical processes through to print/web/PDF to maintain a consistently high standard of artwork.
Expertise
•Web – HTML, CSS, Animated GIFs, Understanding of SEO
•Flash – animated banners, micro-sites, basic Actionscript
•Print – Quark / InDesign – for exhibition stands, Adverts, brochures etc
•HTML emails - Experience of techniques and best practices of e-Marketing
Applications (on a Mac)
•Photoshop
•Illustrator
•Dreamweaver
•Flash
•Quark / InDesign
•Usual Office applications
Also beneficial
•Video / audio – editing, compression, uploading
•3D – Cinema 4D
•After Effects
•Advanced Actionscript
Salary dependent on experience (circa £24-28 pro rata)
