UK BASED FREELANCER FOR MARKETING OF OUR BOOKS/AUTHORS
Sunpenny Publishing is looking for a UK-based freelancer with a proven track record in creating public awareness of
books and authors across the UK. Please do take a GOOD look at our web site at www.sunpenny.com, and decide whether you

You would be working from home to get our authors, books and our writing competitions into the public eye, arranging
media interviews, press releases, email and web campaigns, book signings and other appearances, co-ordinating launches,
getting our books into awards, and everything else that goes with the job of marketing and PR.
You need to have good internet access, and good knowledge of (and possession of) Microsoft Office Word and Excel, good
typing and general working speed, and - tenacity!
This is a job that can be done in an hour or two a day most of the time, but at times there will be a mad flurry of work
- and of course there will be more and more work as we ask you to manage more campaigns. The initial setting up will
take time, but once you're into a routine things will fall into place.
We are specifically looking for someone with UK experience at this stage, but of course experience in other territories
(USA/Canada, Australia, South Africa, Far East) would come in very handy too! :-)
Note that we are a small company, working from our own home, and are just starting to expand - thus our budget is not
big to begin with; however, we believe in sharing the benefits of our progression, and if we work well together as our
profits grow, so will your rates. :-)
YOUR BID PROPOSAL:
1. Please tell us your background.
2. Please reference at least one successful book/author campaign you have orchestrated in the UK, with details of your
own involvement.
3. If you have valuable contacts in the book or media world that would help in a publicity campaign, please indicate.
4. Please quote for a 2-,month campaign (one author with two books)
5. Please also quote an hourly rate, as the work will vary and we may both find that an hourly rates works better for
us.
