SEO Engineer required (London)

We are actively looking to recruit a bright, energetic, forward thinking, organised SEO engineer to technical team responsible for the technical delivery of our client’s natural search programmes. You must be comfortable communicating SEO strategies over the phone establishing clear lines of communication with clients, partners and our internal staff members.
Responsibilities;
· Understand the major factors that influence natural search crawlability, indexing and keyword ranking.
· Perform Natural Search Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities, including but not limited to, identification and analysis of NSO metrics;
· keyword research and ranking analysis; competitive market analysis; keyword friendly copywriting; and analysis of a site’s implementation of SEO best practices.
· Write customized client-facing reports while working within tight deadlines.
· Present program recommendations along with benefits to clients in order to timely advance program goals and objectives.
· Provide regular account management, including interaction with clients and partners via phone, emails and direct contact.
· Possess a great lateral sense of humour with a natural curiosity about the world around you
Essential skills required
· 18 months SEO experience in delivering improved results
· Accessing a client’s current Search performance and making strategic recommendations against the client budget and technical restrictions
· Provide detailed technical Strategic and technical recommendations and present them to clients and team
· Knowledge of CMS systems and enterprise search in the context of search
· A thirst for acquiring new SEO knowledge and developing new Barracuda products
· Be educated ideally to at least ‘A’ level in Mathematics, Business, IT or related topic
Contract length; 3 to 6 months
Rate; negotiable, will pay good rates for the right person
