We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who is interested in contributing their skill and ideas to the success of a small, but extremely ambitious software company.
Personal skills
- A genuine belief that software applications can provide real benefits to people's lives
- Strong interpersonal skills, being comfortable interacting with clients in plain English
- Ability to work on your own initiative, delivering to mutually agreed deadlines
- Ability to lead a small team of other talented developers
Key technical skills - ideally gained from working in a corporate environment for at least 2-3 years
- Experience of the technical design and development of non-trivial web applications using Microsoft technologies, particularly ASP.Net.
- Fluency in C#, VB, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML/XML/XSL
- Strong SQL Server experience (incl. Transact SQL, DTS)
- Having some Oracle experience too would be a bonus
- Experience of common development methodologies and UML
Start date: asap
Contract for 6 months with a view to join the company if desired.
Rate: £30K neg
