Java software programmer required to produce a series of educational "games" for a small, established UK based publisher. The skills we need are programmers with a experience of using graphics and animation software.
The software to be written are a number of interactive "games", which we have designed and are described as text and screenshots and are based on existing activities written in C under Windows. We have outsourced work like this before, and we would supply the sample graphics and sample audio files. We also want to reuse the framework - the same structure of classes - which allow the activities to be run as one application, or as individual applets, as we believe this would save time and cost. We may also be able to provide some fragments of code from the existing version of the program.
We also have an ongoing need to make updates to existing software, written in Java, and our website which includes making a secure area for our subscription service.
