Programmer with web experience required to help complete a large-scale, database-driven web application. The applicant must have good attention to detail, and be able to finish code to production quality.

ESSENTIAL: You must be able to travel to Huntingdon, Cambs, UK at least once a week (twice for the first few weeks) to work on site until up to speed. If you can’t do this journey – please don’t apply.

Experience in designing efficient databases, code, and interfaces, is essential in this role. Experience of testing is also useful.

This is a great opportunity to work on an ambitious and fascinating project using the latest web technology. The project is 85% complete – and the work would involve coding new modules, testing, streamlining, system & front-end design, database design & performance tuning.

The application will require scaling up for production, hence experience of multi-server installations would be useful.
