Chief Technology Officer Required – Internet Video Site
This position will drive the overall ‘Solutions’ & IT development agenda across the business. You will report to the Managing Director in the UK and be based in the London head office.
The position has accountability for the development of compelling solutions for our customers and advertisers and responsibility for IT infrastructure
The role entails delivering software based solutions to our customers, new product development, product enhancement and adaptation of the UK model on a global basis.
The successful candidate will be the most senior technical voice in the business.
Required skills/experience:
- Excellent leadership skills to initiate work and drive to results, at functional and business executive level.
- Proven track record of delivering successful software development and implementation projects internally and for for external customers.
- Direct control of the teams and agencies and external suppliers.
- Technically aware, such that the role holder is able to have technical conversations with software architects, designers, developers and testers to question decisions and their approach with credibility and respect.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels. Such that you are able to have simple and effective technical conversations with non-technical business staff. In addition, excellent business acumen to drive conversation outside technology.
- The work entails uploading video content and alterations of existing site.
- Responsible for all back end technical elements experience is essential and needs to be London based salary by arrangement hours by arrangement.
