ASP.NET & VB .NET SQL Server developer (Covent Garden, London)

As part of our expanding workload, we require an expert .NET developer (ASP and VB) with SQL Server 2000 database experience (stored procedures, data import/export and manipulation) to help build a Content Management System from beginning to end. It will have in-line image handling, multi-lingual support, with multiple user access/permissions, and be scalable as a continuing project.
The CMS will mainly power a series of websites, but will also drive a set of extranet applications (advertising, email management), so flexibility and adaption is key. You must be comfortable working from written specification, be aware of the users who will be using this product, and confident in your ability to deliver to timescales.
The work is due to start in around three to four weeks time, and we expect it to last between six and eight weeks, all on-site. We would rather over-book than under-book your time, as there will be other work we can provide to keep you occupied.
All short listed applicants will be expected to prove their coding and self-management skills in a short test. We are looking for someone with commercial experience who can come in and start working straight away.
