We are a London based New Media Agency specialising in eCommerce and CMS driven websites. Our clients include the likes of Tesco, JP Morgan, Auto Trader, Swarovski etc.
We are currently looking to recruit a middle-weight web developer specialising in LAMP based environment. The ideal candidate should have atleast 2 years of commercial experience and must have proven experience in the following areas:
1 - Developing eCommerce websites.
2 - Integration with various payment gateways
3 - Hand coding of XHTML Strict & CSS.
4 - Good understanding of Javascript.
5 - Experience with AJAX
6 - A good understanding of usability and accessibility in websites.
7 - Good written and spoken English.
Apart from the above it would be useful to have the following skills:
1 - Experience with PHP/Flash integration.
2 - A creative eye and basic understanding of graphic packages like Photoshop.
3 - An understanding of SEO principles.
4 - Client facing experience
This position is based in our funky West London offices just minutes from Portobelo Road. We offer a dynamic and friendly working environment and the salary would be in the range of 22-25K based on how good you are.
