Project:
I seek a PHP & MYSQL Website Developer to develop an exciting, cool and niche social networking site. Preference given to applicants who have developed sites similar to this before. (Design is done)
Opportunity:
This is a paid project but i also would love to meet a developer who is ambitious as there is an opportunity to partner up, if both sides wish, after Phase One. There are also a bunch of other simple / sister websites that need to be developed.
Technology required:
Strong PHP 5, OO, HTML / CSS and XTML with strong Javascript, Ajax Apache and Linux skills.
Major functions / areas:
1. Profile Page
2. Public URL for each user
3. Ability for members to theme pages (Styles created by site and not users themselves)
4. Add Friends / Invite Friends (Also see Pending requests / Sent etc)
5. Message Center (Send / receive)
6. Blogs
7. Photo Upload and Manager
8. Search functionality (people / photos etc)
9. Groups
10. Forums
