We are looking for an experienced freelance web developer to work on our various company websites, initially for one day a week. The work will be based at our Crewkerne office in Somerset, so the applicant must live within reasonable traveling distance as we are not looking for a remote worker.

Applicants must have a sound and proficient knowledge of the PHP language and MySQL databases – This is essential, as is the ability to efficiently design multi-table databases and develop structured and safe code for client-facing web applications. The applicant would be required to work on and continue development of our e-commerce sites, which will involve extensive hand-coded PHP/HTML. We currently use Macromedia Dreamweaver and the successful applicant will also ideally have a good knowledge of flash, actionscript and reasonable design/page layout skills. Experience of using APACHE web servers and MS Access also desirable.
