Spoonfed.co.uk are looking for a new developer to work full time in our offices in Hoxton, London.
This job would suit either a graduate with proven skills or an experienced developer looking for a new challenge. The initial contract is for 6 months at pro rata £24k, with ongoing opportunities after 6 months if you become the ideal candidate.
The job requires a multitude of skills and the ability to learn quickly as well as proven experience with PHP, HTML, Javascript and XML. A workable knowledge of Perl will be a major asset and the ideal candidate should also have a basic knowledge of mobile phone apps based on J2ME.
You will be responsible for developing innovative social networking tools and personalized APIs, which will run off the responsive databases built, and maintained by our IT and editorial teams.
In addition to excellent IT skills and the capacity to work in a small team, you should have a strong visual sense and good knowledge of page layouts.
