Required to create system components for a domain registrar.
The components are to enable specification for a collection of simple text-based commands that clients use to query for name availability, provide registrant contact information, purchase domain names and manage domain information such as name servers.
Essential Skill Set:
Have 3 to 5 years experience developing solutions for target platform and Perl programming language.
Be familiar with developing Open Source-like projects (i.e., how to download, configure, compile and install a typical Open Source project) within a Linux environment
Understand core Internet protocols, especially HTTP.
Understand web programming fundamentals such as how to process a form with CGI scripts.
Have at least cursory knowledge of public key cryptography concepts.
