Instant Access Technologies Ltd is an international software company based in London, LA, with the development Office in Reading. We seek to recruit a self motivated, bright individual to work for the Company as an Ajax Developer with solid HTML and scripting skills.
The successful applicant will work on developing a range of rich-media applications for a suite of websites and support others projects relating to our flagship desktop application – many of which are web driven. Main responsibilities will be:
• Predominantly work with Senior Ajax developer to roll-out websites to market.
• Work with SEO strategists in order to increase exposure within natural listings.
• Use existing framework to extend the range of content widgets for each website.
• Further develop widget controls.
• Extend framework to specialize compatibility for main stream browsers.
• Documentation, Testing and other miscellaneous tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum 2 year commercial experience.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a very challenging & dynamic environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A pleasant personality.
The following demonstrable skills are essential:
• 5 year minimum experience using JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, DOM.
• Experience developing Ajax agents.
• Experience developing high volume web applications.
• Fluent in cross-browser / platform development.
• Solid understanding of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and usability.
The following would be advantageous, but not essential:
• Developing in JSP / Eclipse environments.
• Performance tuning.
• Knowledge of CVS.
