Senior ICT Field Technician (London)

We are seeking keen, enthusiastic and experienced members to join our growing team of ICT Field Technicians providing support to schools, businesses and home users within the Greater London area and surrounding counties.
Duties include:
• PC and Mac troubleshooting/diagnostics and fault resolution involving direct communication with 3rd party manufacturers/suppliers.
• Network Administration – AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, MS Exchange, TCP/IP configuration.
• Client installs onto domains/workgroups.
• Installation and troubleshooting of 3rd party software, desktop and server O/S’s
• Installation of standalone and networked printers (wired and wireless)
• Virus and spyware removal.
• Installation and configuration of networking hardware - switches, routers, wireless devices and basic cabling installs/repairs.
• Telephone/remote support for clients.
• General networking maintenance duties.
• On-site consultancy and advisory services for clients ICT infrastructure.

Excellent communication skills, punctuality and a willingness to travel are vital for this role as are 3 years extensive hardware and software experience a must! MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, A+ etc. are desirable but not essential.
Business hours cover 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri and 09:00-17:00 Sat-Sun. Actual working hours are dependant on a flexible working quota based around a 40 hour week and occasional out of hours and weekend work will also be expected. Salary expectation £17K - 19K pa dependant on experience.
