Aidis is a small, dynamic, innovative charity dedicated to meeting the Information and Communication Technology challenges facing Disabled People. The Infrastructure Technician position is a new role created as a result of Aidis’ increased web presence and the range of services that it offers Disabled People.
Infrastructure Technician:
We are looking for someone with flair & technical ability, with a minimum of one to two years experience, to join us in a permanent role, willing to work on a range of exciting projects. You should have an excellent knowledge of technology and be familiar with web development technologies and search engine optimisation as your role will be to develop and maintain Aidis’ website with the objective of bringing traffic and ultimately promoting Aidis’ services.
You will develop and maintain a range of information and communication systems, including a web site and applications, accounts and database systems, email and general network infrastructure. These systems are critical for delivering the organisation’s core activities. In addition, projects are planned that will utilise modern communications technologies and information systems to deliver services. This includes the delivery of interactive, teaching applications over the web, using technologies such as Captivate and Flash. You will play a leading role developing and implementing these projects.
You will be working from our offices in London three days per week and covering the south of England two days per week. The final salary will be commensurate with skill set & experience and range from £21,000 - £25,000, with an annual pay review.
