London-based PHP programmer needed for ongoing Contract (London)

Unique opportunity to hit the ground running in a small city-based full service design agency. We have an excellent client list, a steady stream of revenue and a bright future. However, my second career in Film Production is starting to take up more time and I'm looking for someone who can take over the web production side of the company in a step by step process over the next few years, eventually owning a large proportion of the company shares.
The company is taking on more and more work and I need to take a programmer to handle the overflow. We're now creating more and more complex database driven sites / applications for high profile clients such as Sothebys Institute of Art and Complan Foods.
I need someone who is both a great programmer AND interested in pushing forward the company - having a real input into the direction of a company and what it becomes, expanding the team and leading others, rather than being a cog in the system. This is a great opportunity for someone who has already tired of working for large companies and wants to be part of setting something up on their own? Maybe you've been thinking of setting up your own company but don't want to go through the horrific first few years? Or you'd like to be somewhere more flexible and creative, but don't want to have to deal with all the nightmare clients...
In terms of working practices, I want someone who thinks about what they are doing - doesn't just run through a task list but considers how someone might use the system and works with me to come up with the best user experience. We're a user-focussed design company and spend a lot of time on information design.
I need someone who is:
Conscientious
Hard working
Flexible
Has good interpersonal skills
Has at the very least 2 Years commercial experience
Just to be clear, this is not a shares-only job. You will be paid as soon as you start work, but there is the added incentive of additional future revenue and responsibility.
Possibility of part time or permanent work.
On-site work will be required.
Rate is £15-25per hour depending on experience.
