You have a passion for programming, a problem solving mentality, and a love of designing and implementing elegant software solutions. You can communicate clearly to a mixed technical and non-technical team and can demonstrate your skills and experience through previous commercial or personal projects. You make sound decisions, meet deadlines and have a strong track record of success in your career to date. *About us:* Jack Brand is expanding its digital studio in Sheffield and is looking to add two more web developers to the team. Jack Brand is a full service agency with a client list that includes Heineken, Eurosport, BT and Shell amongst others. The Sheffield office, where you will be based, is totally focused on technical delivery of web based projects. *Responsibilities:* Key roles - You will be responsible for the delivery of projects under the guidance of a project manager. - You’ll use collaboration tools such as version control software, bug tracking systems, and wikis to coordinate with the team. - Produce elegant, well thought out and cleanly structured code that will inspire and amaze your colleagues. - You will be expected to work to clearly defined and agreed deadlines. - Potentially some client facing activity - To contribute to the development of new products and services through researching, unearthing and suggesting suitable technologies and practices. - To contribute to the continuing growth of our business. *Experience:* Experience in a commercial development role is beneficial but not a prerequisite. More important is that you are talented and can demonstrate an aptitude for delivering great products. Contract details.
