Hello
I require the services of a MySQL expert to help me optimise a database. The database is for a GPS tracking system and contains hundreds of thousands of GPS tracking data as each vehicle on the system issues a GPS poll every 5 minutes. The database speed is really slowing down our application and I would like to seek the help of a professional to speed it up. I am willing to redesign the table structure if necessary but I am specifically looking for help to optimise my queries and add the best indexes possible. This work could be done remotely but I would prefer it if the consultant/contractor could spend the day in Staffordshire with me.

I can't imagine that this would take longer than a day for someone with experience in these areas.
