We are currently looking for a PHP web developer to work in Newcastle upon Tyne.
OffExploring.com is a popular travel blog website that allows holidaymakers to create online travel diaries, complete with photos, videos and interactive maps. Our platform is used by a number of large travel companies such as STA Travel (www.statravelblogs.com) and due to rapid expansion we require a new PHP developer to help build exciting new features and implement the solution for new travel industry clients.
Must-have skills are PHP and MySQL. Demonstrable experience is required in these areas. Some knowledge/experience of XML, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Flash would be an advantage. The successful applicant will also have an eye for good graphic design and excellent communication skills.
This is a 1-year contract position, potentially becoming permanent, and is office based. Our offices are in Horsley, off the A69 just west of Newcastle.
