Freelance C# & ASP.NET developer (London)

We are looking for several freelance C# developers to work on the development of media processing components for an existing ASP.NET application. The work will involve integrating third party technologies as well as potentially developing new ones.
Skills required:
- Excellent C# and .net (2.0 framework)
- Application integration experience including more than one of SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and raw XML.
- Shell, xmlrpc, http, COM and native .net integration experience.
- Intermediate SQL Server 2005 and SQL experience.
- Experience developing C# code that interfaces with at least one of the following existing third party components: ImageMagick, Aspose (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and Flash), LAME, FFMPEG, Moyea Video SDK, Turbine Video Engine SDK, Rhozet Carbon Coder, ABCpdf, StarPDF, GhostScript, Quark Server, InDesign, Flash Turbine.
- Some experience of working with common metadata standards such as IPTC, EXIF, XMP and ID3 and manipulating them using tools such as TagLib Sharp, Chilkat, Adobe XMP Toolkit and ImageMagick.
- Must be able to produce clean, structured, well written and commented code and willing to show examples at interview.
- The ability to write documentation and clearly describe APIs, interfaces and the internal mechanism of any components authored.
The work will be ad-hoc, based off-site and priced on a fixed spec/fixed cost per-project basis. It will suit freelance developers looking to widen their existing portfolio of clients who are able to work from their own home/office.
