We are an East London based digital agency who specialise in designing and developing Flash based applications for online and desktop.
The position is for an Actionscript 3 developer with strong programming skills, a background of using Object Orientated Programming and 1 to 2 years of Flash development experience. The standard of development requires the candidate to be comfortable working in an IDE without the use of a timeline (i.e. not Flash IDE). Our standard development environment is Eclipse based, although others are acceptable.
The role would entail working on large scale projects from scoping through to execution, alongside the design and project management team. Due to this, a degree of autonomy would be required combined with the ability to communicate well with the rest of the team.
It would be beneficial for the candidate to have an awareness of design patterns and designing user experiences. Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills would be a beneficial as well as some knowledge of a server side scripting language such as PHP.
For those interested in advancing their skill set we have projects coming up which involve Flex and AIR.
Salary - £24,000 to £28,000
