GardenExchange

posted on 26/4/2000

GardenExchange.co.uk will be a service for keen gardeners that will enable them to buy and sell plants/seeds/tools to each other through the internet. To enable this service to work we have signed up 60 specialist nurseries that are happy to act as distribution centres on Saturdays.

One huge advantage of having this network of specialist nurseries is that they send out thousands of catalogues and visit many garden shows throughout the year where they can distribute GardenExchange leaflets.

In addition, this service will receive a great deal of press coverage because it is so unusual.

Given that the marketing costs are very low this service will make a profit by the end of the summer.

You may be somebody in full time work already and would like an extra project. As long as you can programme the database by the end of May then you are right for us.

We will pay for all marketing costs, webhosting, bandwidth, hardware etc..All we want from you is your time and expertise in return for substantial equity and revenue sharing.

We are no longer accepting applications for this project.
