Pac Man game in Flash / Shockwave

posted on 25/1/2002

Hello there,

We're working with a well known arcade game manufacturer to develop a series of websites for their chain of 'entertainment venues'. We are developing a viral marketing campaign to drive traffic to the sites using and interactive Pac Man game that will offer prizes for the highest scores in the UK.

We need the game developed in Shockwave or Flash and it must be able to be able to send data to a SQL database. The database will store email addresses and scores etc.

The game will be an EXACT clone of the original with all the orignal levels and features. The company we are working with holds the licence and the rights to do this.

We know that there are already Flash versions of the game available - so it may be a case of adapting one of those if you can get your hands on the source.

This is of course an ironic project considering the client is a games manufacturer!!!!????? I am told that the games division is completely unattached to this project.

If you can do it or even have developed a version of the game already. Please mail me with your price, timescale and anything you've done that would demonstrate your ability to complete this task.

Many thanks

Nick
