Two-Sectioned Web Site Required
posted on 22/7/2002We are requiring someone to create an e-commerce site which will be split into two main sections:
1) A standard shopping cart system and
2) A 'Vendors' system to the site which will allow vendors to place orders at a discount and pay off all their bills accrued over a month as well as being informed of special offers, etc. (A similar format to avon.uk.com)
The system should be easy for our marketing staff to add items to the cart, and both systems will be dealing with the same products.
The site will be used for the sale of 'party plan' products similar to those of Ann Summers, so the project is not for the easily offended. You should also have the ability to create the initial shopping index from paper catalogues that we can provide.
