E-business Events Manager
posted on 21/1/2004We are coordinating numerous events (at least one per month) for a range of e-business sectors and are on the lookout for a professional, proactive individual with a knowledge of the new media industry to help us develop and manage these events.
The role is part-time, estimated one week per month to begin with.
Duties include:
Identifying London venue / negotiating cost
Selling headline slots (this is NOT a hardcore sales position but some sales skills are vital; our event is in demand)
Coordinating audience invites, following up by email/phone
Arranging for event materials to be printed, ie reports, training packs etc
Attending event and liaising with headline speakers, collating audience feedback (forms)
Post-event reporting - collating statistics/responses etc

We are based in Central London, which is where these events have been hosted, so far.
Applicants may be able to work from home so long as they have access to broadband/phone.
