Online Hotel Booking System (XML)
posted on 26/1/2005We are in the process of developing an online hotel reservation system (like the hotel searches on hotelopia.co.uk, midashotels.co.uk etc). We will be using various hotel suppliers who all use an industry standard XML web service.
Requirements would include building of site and database (all graphics and design is done already), a CMS, Administration Back End to view customer itineraries etc in tabular format etc, integrate World Pay and Streamline Virtual payment system, shopping cart and saved bookings etc plus other small details that can be explained later.
Successful applicant must have 'EXPERT!' knowledge of XML, Web, Linux servers and other related technologies and understand scale and professionalism needed to fulfil this post.
We can pay between £2500 - 3500.
*VERY IMPORTANT: All applicants must have strong portfolios of e-commerce projects, be resident in the UK, able to meet in London, speak and write clear english. Programmers from outside the UK should not apply.
Preferably applicant would have own company or be part of one although not essential but may effect issues regarding deposit etc.
