Website concept designer required

posted on 31/3/2005

Hi

I'm looking for a freelancer that can help with designing high quality website concepts for clients to help with project pitches.

Typically you’d be provided with logos, a design brief and examples of the competition and required to provide back some homepage ideas as jpegs ready to use in the pitch, and sometimes variants for other pages.

If the pitch was successful, you’d then be required to develop your ideas into design templates for all aspects of the site.

You’d need to be able to apply your skills to all industries, but with an emphasis on the Sport, Music & Corporate markets.

Ability to develop / program the websites is not necessary, although these skills would be an advantage, since you’d be likely to understand more about website restrictions.

If you are interested, please let me know 5 things:

1. Ballpark costs for producing some homepage design ideas (to a high standard).
2. How long realistically it would take you to produce these ideas from receipt of the brief.
3. If you are willing to remain unpaid until the pitch was won.
4. Examples of other sites that you have designed. Please also mention if you programmed them as well.
5. Your location.

The designer must be UK based, ideally around the Oxford / Banbury area.

Many thanks, look forward to hearing from you.
