posted on 22/9/2005

The name of the site which requires updating will be released to the shotlisted companies involved.

The site is currently designed purely for marketing with a secure area for trade documents and brochures. Some of these pages will need to have a CMF (Content Managed) ability and to be able to add new pages when required page creator. The page creator will allow for a template to be selected, a title to be added, a link in the appropriate tree menu, content and images to be inserted and Meta tags to be filled in. All this can be done from the admin panel.

There are several new section to be added
New Sections
KMC + Page Creator
Street Glow + Page Creator
Members Area to depict brochures to trade etc.
News & Press Release with facility to archive old news letters plus mail out feature.
Brochure Upload with facility to determine which pages are to link to specific brochures

The current sections within the site to be converted to CMF.

An enquiry form that when accessed from sections pages will pre-populate with an appropriate subject. Alternatively, the form will incorporate a drop down menu for direct access

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
There are a number of aspects of the current website displayed as text that, for best SEO, should be displayed as HTML. These are:
All main menu links
All page titles
Top of the page Tag Line
Page top menu and tree menu
