ms access - net integration
posted on 28/9/2005I do not have a full project brief at this point. Here's a bit of background information on the project in order to give you some idea of what is involved.
My client needs to connect his MS Access database to the internet - it is sensitive data so we will be using a secure server and password protected area. Presently the amount of data is fairly lightweight.
Different users will need to be able to log in and view data for only their accounts (not everybody elses), select date range and other criteria and be able to create reports - downloadable pdf or excel files.
The database does not need to be writable on the web server - read-only.
