We are an extremely busy web design & hosting business based in West Sussex, looking for a talented web designer/developer based in the local area to assist with our workload.
We have a number of website developments on the go and plenty coming up, so for the right person there will be plenty of work both initially and ongoing.
Primary skills required are HTML/CSS, ASP and database-driven web applications (SQL, MySQL platforms etc). In addition, expertise in using Macromedia Fireworks would be particularly useful, although depending on other factors if you are hot with something like Photoshop or similar this would be OK.
In terms of working practises, money and time, we are fairly flexible and happy to discuss arrangements on an individual basis. After this initial phase of contact, we’ll speak to/meet with various applicants and discuss/agree on an ongoing arrangement.
Primarily we are looking for someone highly talented, local, reliable and trustworthy. In addition, we’d like someone who can be handed a project/brief and run with it, taking the initiative where applicable without being spoonfed or guided through everything!
We pride ourselves on offering top notch, professional/corporate web solutions, so no bored teenagers with a PC and a copy of FrontPage please!

We’re hoping to find someone in the local area with whom we can create/build a strong and ongoing business relationship. We spend a lot of time/money on sales & marketing and are growing very quickly, so for the right person this could be a nice little earner on an ongoing basis, possibly resulting in something more permanent.
And finally just to reiterate – we are looking for someone LOCAL, who we can meet in person as and when required. Any non-UK or non-local applications will not be responded to.
