UK and Worldwide maps required
posted on 21/4/2006A graphic designer is required to design and produce 2 sets of stylized maps for a leading property website.
The maps will be used in print and online and so will need to be produced as vector artwork, which will be supplied with corresponding .gif exports (for use online) as part of the contract.
The UK maps should include:
a) 1 top level map (i.e the UK including county boundaries for england and wales)
b) Many second level maps based on the amount of boundaries represented in the top level map (i.e if the UK has 94 counties then there would be 94 second level maps) with major towns marked with text and location marks.
NB. the boundaries that we wish you to mark will be supplied as a hard copies
The worldwide maps should include:
a) 1 top level map (i.e. the world split into 3 categrories - USA & Canada, Europe and the Rest of the World)
b) 3 second level maps (i.e. USA & Canada, Europe and the Rest of the World) with individual country boundaries marked and countries named.
c) Many third level maps (based on a supplied country list) indicating region boundaries within a country.
NB. the boundaries that we wish you to mark will be supplied as a hard copies
As an indication of your ability please send two maps (one top level UK and one top level worlwide) to display the style you would use for the maps. From this sample we will choose the successful candidate.
