Junior Designer / Artworkerposted on 24/4/20061. In liaison with the Publication Managers and Graphic Designer, ensure the correct use of College’s corporate identity and branding across all College publications and promotional materials. 2. Work with departments and external associations to guide them on the design and production of effective publications, as required. 3. Produce accurate artwork for departmental and corporate publications on QuarkXpress, Illustrator and PhotoShop. To make effective use of templates, and producing final artwork for print with attention to technical requirements. 4. Work with external designers, photographers and printers as directed by the line manager. 5. Aid in the creation of new concepts for publications, newsletters, brochures or exhibitions where required. 6. Maintain/assist in maintaining the photographic library. 7. Archiving of publications onto CD/DVD on a regular basis and ensuring that materials are returned to departments or any other source. 8. Undertake other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Department's senior staff or senior College officers. 9. Assist in photography shots on and off campus for use in College publicity as and when required by managers. 10. Research images via picture libraries. 11. Assist in the provision of a photo-editing service to staff, using Photoshop software 12. Assist in exhibition production including in assisting clients to erecting and dismantling displays.
