Lead developer required for OS project
posted on 23/5/2006www.ippimail.com is looking for a lead developer for a 6-12 month contract.
Ippimail is a fundraiser for charities and the Open Source community. We offer a Hotmail-style email service.
We need a *really* good allrounder. Currently we are using:
Squirrelmail webmail. Thinking of migrating to Horde/IMP in the short term. Possibly Hula in the future.
Cyrus IMAP
Postfix MTA
Linux
Apache
mySQL
php
Subversion
You will also need to be skilled in the usual html, javascript, css, etc, etc. Linux admin skills would also be a bonus.
We are committed to Open Source and want to contribute all new code to the community as well as 10% of all profits. It's vital therefore that the person we find is able to create top-flight code worthy of giving back to the community. A demonstrable commitment to OS would be an advantage.
You would be in at the very start of an unusual and exciting project in a job with excellent long term prospects.
We happen to be based near Banbury/Brackley, Northants and need to find someone to work from home or here, whichever works.
