Microsoft .Net/WIndows CE Software Developer

Remote Media are the UK's leading provider of Digital Signage and Interactive products and services.

We are looking for a software developer for an initial 3 month contract on-site (Saffron Walden, nr Cambridge) with good experience in the development of client/server and web based applications using the full range of Microsoft development languages with .Net, VB, SQL, XML, ASP being our current core skills. We have developed a 3 module software solution that comprising of MediaScheduler, MediaDistributor and MediaPlayer and the person we employee will be working alongside the Produce Development Director to take over the day-to-day development/enhancements to the current and future products.

Our products are designed to run on XP Pro and Embedded XP at present, but we are also moving over the Windows CE and would require the person we take on to be comfortable and able to develop C/C# applications for CE. A good understanding of Network communications including HTTP, IP, RS232 is also essential.
