Freelance Motion Graphics Designer
posted on 24/5/2006An After Effects specialist with ideally previous experience of working on point of sale and retail environments. Experience in working with video a must. Ideally we are looking for a designer who can put together pieces in Adobe After Effects but experience in Adobe Premiere would be a definite bonus.

Expectations:
Below is a non-exhaustive list of the Company’s expectations of the Motion Graphics Designer
• Creating high quality animations for a retail environment using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere.
• Animation and design skills to a high standard.
• Knowledge of what works for video and animation within a screen based design.
• Strong creative and conceptual abilities.
Essential Qualities:
• Professional knowledge of Adobe after effects and digital video standards.
• A degree in film/editing/design is advantageous
• Camera and sequence direction skills advantageous
• A strong vision for how an animation should move and behave
• A strong eye for detail
• The ability to work effectively in a marketing environment by collaborating with a lead designer.
Creative design skills:
The ability to create contemporary animated sequences within the National Lottery brand. Ideally you will have a minimum of two years professional experience. You must have an interest in motion-graphics trends and post-production techniques.
Strong presentation/communication skills - the ability to present your work to marketing executives an advantage.
Packages to know: After Effects, Photoshop. Premiere and 3D Studio Max would be an advantage but not a necessity.
