Ruby on Rails Tutor (South West)
posted on 29/5/2006I'm a freelance web designer/developer looking for and experienced Ruby on Rails programmer/tutor to teach me the basics.
I'm a strong xhtml/css developer with middling PHP/MySQL skills but I'm looking to move over to Rails.
Training can either take place in Cornwall or at your premises.
I've got an iMac and an XP laptop.
I'm estimating I'll probably need 4-6 days training 1-on-1 training to get me to a level where I can develop projects on my own with a good understanding of how the language works. Is this realistic?
Please let me know:
- your exerience with Rails
- your experience as a WEB DEVELOMENT tutor (with or without Rails - but I want to know how much experience you have of teaching programming - not applications like Dreamweaver or Photoshop)
- your location
- your day rate
