Advanced PHP Developer needed for full/part time work
posted on 19/7/2006Interesting project expanding a well established site.
Required skills at an ADVANCED level -
PHP, XML, AJAX, CSS, MySQL database, Google maps API
Also advanced Caching, Sessions, Mod Rewrite.
You will be expected to write your very own highly efficient code, which means NO smarty, PEAR, XOAD etc
Examples of previous work required. References required.
You may also be required to do a half day trial period
UK RESIDENTS ONLY.
May require a meeting in Berkshire, UK
You will be working on an existing high quality, high traffic site with a very large database and extensive customised codebase. You will be building new features for the site, new applications, working with various API's, creating a user system and database and building a custom administration system amongst other things. There will be lots of advanced PHP and XML work. Your coding must be clean and efficient and you will need good database design skills.

We are essentially looking for someone more or less full-time to begin with (approx 2 months), then part-time work on an ongoing basis, but we are flexible, so please get in touch if you have the required skills. Looking for someone to start ASAP.
