Project Manager
posted on 30/11/2006Digital White is a web and print design development company based near Fulham Broadway, London. We design and build web sites, database-driven online applications and design branding and print work for medium to large companies. We are growing fast and as such need to employ more staff. In particular, we are looking for a Web account / Project manager who would initially be brought in to manage our projects. The position will suit a very methodical, detailed person, who can capture customers' requirements and deliver a project with help from the design and programming departments. Dealing with customers both on the telephone and face to face will be a major part of the job and past experience of account management is important.
The ideal candidate will be someone who:
• Is a fast learner, confident, is a team player, stays cool under pressure, has strong interpersonal skills and an engaging personality
• Understands and uses the Internet daily
• Understands the basics of HTML, FTP and FLASH but not necessarily a programmer or a designer
• Understands the basics of database design and database-driven applications and websites
• Can write to a very good standard including both details specifications and reports
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Either A level or degree level education
• Brand, Design and Internet experience
• Experience in a web based company as a project manager for the last 12 months
• Proven ability to write reports
• The personality to with clients and suppliers
• Be used to working to strict deadlines
• Ability to generate cost estimates
• Basic/Intermediate Financial Proficiency
• Knowledge of business and product development
• Macintosh proficiency
• SEO Skills
We are a flexible company and will consider applicants from a wide range of abilities. The remuneration scale will reflect experience and be in the range £23k-£27k
Interview format:
• 5 minutes chit chat and brief overview of DW office
• 40 mins competency interview
• 20 mins further CV exploration and DW strategic direction
• 30 – 40 mins show of candidate’s work and our work
