Website and Logo Design
posted on 15/12/2006We are an online retailer that will be selling clothing from the genre of clubwear. We are looking for a complete website redesign. We also want a logo for our new brand. We would like a logo that stands for the brand we wish to sell that will attract our main market (see below)
From our research the majority of customers are going to be female and age 16 – 25. We would like the site to reflect this. We kind of like the existing pink so may think pink is the way to go for the new design but this is by no means a must! We had thought about having a black background originally, but feel perhaps this does not reflect a professional enough looking website? (see some of the example websites we have supplied to show this)
Currently we do not feel there is a more professional website that is a retailer to clubwear, this is what we would like to do. Professional, but not corporate, we wish it to appeal to young people, especially young females.
The existing Shopping Cart
The shopping cart software we are using is VP-ASP so we ideally need a site design of one main page, and this can be copied in to the software and just have the necessary include files changed. We’re not totally sure how this works, but hope you have had experience integrating with a shopping cart before. I believe, there is a top header, left, right and bottom include file that can be changed. We have a ASP developer that is capable of integrating the HTML with the ASP.
Our Wholesalers and Competitors
As an idea to see what our competitor and wholesale websites are like, we have a list with our comments of what we think is wrong about them, and thus what we would like differently for our website please enquire for this list when you respond to this advert.
No doubt we will need to use you from time-to-time to make changes to our site. Please could you include all information relating to support, follow up development (prices), and any terms or other information that we need to be made aware about.
