Website Promotion
posted on 24/1/2007We run multiple websites and, although we are online promotion experts ourselves, we don't have time to do it and follow through things these days. We need someone who will be both pro-active, and who will also do what we ask. For example, - join relevant forums, newsgroups, and message boards, and post very relevant messages with info about the site they are promoting (no spamming). Also, of course, submit to search engines, newsletters, etc. If you want to do something with a cost involvement, we are not against paying for some online/newsletter advertising. We run Google adwords ourselves, and an affiliation scheme. Our sites are as diverse as www.trafficeer.com (a great promotion tool in its own right) to www.waterfall-d-mannose.com (supplying a very effective cure for cystitis.)
We need someone who is easily contactable, who picks up the phone within 3 rings most of the time, doesn't suddenly disappear for stretches without keeping in touch, will respond very fast to specific requests, is very reliable, has broadband (obviously), knows html (we might ask you to do some optimisation for us, and ftp the modifications up) is highly intelligent, lives in the UK or Europe (for time zone compatibility), and who can demonstrate a proven ability to do online promotion. We want all our sites to get into the top 5 of Google, main listings, for multiple keywords, within 6 months, and we want to be able to start seeing initial results soon.
You will work from your own place, using your own tools, and submit a varied invoice every month, briefly detailing what you have done. However, we will expect you to contact us before making major outlays on our behalf. And to keep in toich by email and phone.
We are very web-savvy, and we know how much time it takes to do this stuff, so we will pay a reasonable retainer/fee each month. You are not going to be working on this full time, but if you are good and prove yourself to us, we will give you more work. This is ongoing...
