Data Mining and Email Server Project

posted on 29/1/2007

We are a UK based business looking for offshore development resources (individuals or companies) that can help to develop our email marketing propositions.

This is a new project, so we are happy to be advised on the best route to take in terms of technology (i.e. Java or PHP etc). The project will involve developing a system that spiders the internet, extracts and formats data and inserts this into a MySQL db. In addition we have a specification to build an automated email system. Therefore some knowledge of SMTP would be useful.

If you are interested please send me an email with the following:

- Knowledge and levels of proficiency of specific technologies (a standard CV will do)
- Brief description of previous relevant project(s) (please no essays)
- Hourly rates
- Availability
- Any other information you think is relevant

If you have previously worked on projects in the same area as above then this would be an advantage, however not essential.

Many thanks

Dan Westcourt.
