Online form manipulation application
posted on 19/3/2007We need an application written that will interrogate the contents of an online form (eg a feedback form) and change certain words according to entries in a database.
In other words, a user will complete a website form and press submit. The application will then “grab” what the user has entered and check it against a database (either Access or SQL Server). If the application finds a word that appears in the database list then it replaces that word with a different one. For example, “cat” might be changed to “dog”. The application will, after checking everything in the form, send the form back to the website it got it from for them to deal with it.
There also needs to be a very easy way for this application to be integrated into a website. Ideally, it should only be a one or two line change for the webmaster to integrate the application into his / her website.
The application and the database it looks at will be on a server that I control.
I want the application written using .Net 2.0 Framework or similar (NOT php / mysql)
