msn messenger contact upload

posted on 26/4/2007

hi

I run a website which has a refer a friend system in place. Currently users type in their friends email addresses and we then send a message to that email address inviting them to the site.

What we would like developed is a tool which is seen on many sites now. We would like the ability for a user to enter their msn username and password and for the tool to upload their contacts list. The user can then choose which people they want to send the messages to and then it is sent.

After googling i have found that there has been several people who have developed such things using php etc so it shouldnt be too difficult.

The following pages would be needed.

1. Intro page explaining whats going on with a box for them to enter username and password.

2. I list of contacts with checkboxs next to them

3. A message box with is editable by the user but has a predefined message in it already

4. A confirmation page showing that the messages have been sent.

Thats it, simple.

thanks
